So it seems I haven't been as prolific in my blogging as of late. Let's remedy that, shall we, straight to the point. I am 9 months old now and lots has happened in the last 4 months. Here's the quick version.
Aunt Carrie came to visit. I went to NY for Passover and had a great time even though I wasn't feeling well. I turned 6 months old. I visited Nonnie and Poppy in Florida for spring break (woohoo!) and went to the beach and the zoo and in the pool and on walks and it was super fun. Bubbie and Zaydie came to visit and Mommy and Daddy went out and didn't put me to bed for the first time ever and I survived and so did Mommy. The weather started getting nicer and I started using my big boy stroller. I turned 7 months old. Daddy took me to Tufts to show me around while he reminisced about the "good old days" during his 10 year reunion and I got to meet some of his friends and got my own Jumbo shirt and a babysitter came for the first time and I did great and so did Mommy. We all went to NY again and saw Bubbie and Zaydie and Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Laura and Aunt Lisa and Uncle Stu and Aunt Steph and Aunt Michelle and lots of other people. I turned 8 months old. I have been eating lots and lots of all different kinds of foods. Some of my favorites are bananas, tofu, cheese, yogurt, blueberries, and sweet potatoes, but I will pretty much eat whatever you give me and I am pretty darn good at feeding myself, too. Aunt Laura came to visit and we got to hang out. Mommy finished school for the year and we get to spend more time together now. Poppy came to visit and then Nonnie came too. My big furry sister Keko and I are great friends and I find her hilarious. She likes when I eat in my high chair because she usually gets a little floor snack of her own. I had a boys only night with Daddy and I survived and so did Mommy. We celebrated our country's birthday and I was told there were fireworks but I slept through them. I am a "mobile" baby, watch out! Mommy and I started taking a music class together. I turned 9 months old. Nonnie came to visit. Daddy and I started taking swimming classes together. I am quite chatty when the mood strikes, you might hear me say dada, baba, guh, mama, and my favorite brrrrr. WHEW!!!
Til' next time (which hopefully won't be as long)...

Five Months Old!
I am five months old. Not today, a few days ago, but we've discussed this already, so get over it.
I am a big boy now, so I am eating big boy food (rice cereal) while I sit in my big boy chair. The first couple of times it was "eating" but the last couple of times it was eating. Mommy and Daddy were so encouraged, that they bought me oatmeal in addition to the rice cereal so I have some variety. As I am sitting here typing this, I am also eating my feet for the first time. Yesterday we moved the clocks forward (what a strange concept), and I stayed up way past my normal bedtime.
But I have been sleeping really well, which makes Mommy and Daddy very happy.
I have been very chatty. It's mostly when the three (or four) of us are alone, but sometimes I talk when other people are around. My letter of the day yesterday was "B."

I have been hearing Mommy and Daddy talk about going to Bubbie and Zaydie's house for Passover. I am excited to see lots of people that I have not seen for a long time, and to meet some people for the first time.

Visit with Nonnie
Well, I might be a little late with this post, but it's only because it took a while to recover from such a fun long weekend with Nonnie! It had been so long since we had seen each other, so we tried to make up for it with lots of quality time. Luckily Mommy and Daddy were just fine with that. I hear they got to go see a movie and have 2 nice dinners out without me, but I barely noticed they were gone! I'm so excited to go visit Nonnie (and Poppy too this time!) in Florida in April!
I keep getting bigger, and I am still such a good boy. Mommy and Daddy brag about what a good sleeper I am, but for some reason they go find some wood to bang on every time they say so. I still love going to school too. My teachers are so nice, I always have big smiles for them, and I always get good "report cards." I even brought home my very first art project this week! Too bad our refrigerator isn't magnetic, I bet it would look nice there.
Daddy has been working a lot lately, so I don't get to see him too much during the week. Luckily we have been having guys day out every Sunday for a few weeks now, having lunch and going to class with some other babies and their Daddies. This week is our last week, so I am kinda bummed about that. What I can't figure out it why Mommy seems kinda bummed too. She doesn't even get to come, she just stays home and "relaxes." How boring!
Until next time...

Can you believe I am 4 months old?
Neither can my parents! Boy has the time flown by (I guess that means we've been having fun, right?)
Today was a very busy day! First, I went to yoga with Mommy. We haven't been for a while, but I liked it. I was extremely chatty and smiley, and even made the teacher laugh with my funny sounds. Then we went to a play group with 3 other babies. I tried out some new toys and drooled all over everything. Next, I went to the doctor and found out I am over 15 pounds, and 26 inches...who needs the gym, Mommy can just lift me! I was also very brave and got more shots to make sure I don't get sick when I am older. When I got home I was pretty exhausted (understandably so) so I slept the rest of the day away, which gave Mommy such much appreciated relaxing time too.
I'm still having fun at school 3 days a week, and my teachers love me--of course. But Mommy is on vacation next week, and I know we have some fun stuff planned, so I am really looking forward to that.

First Day At School
Yesterday was my first day at school. I had a great day and was such a good boy. Mommy and Daddy woke up really early in the morning to make sure that I was all settled in and had everything that I needed. I played with a lot of new toys, met some new friends, heard new songs and read new books. It was a great first day - I even wore a brand new "first day of school" outfit. Even though I am sad to be away from Mommy and Daddy, I am excited to go back tomorrow for another day of fun.
Today I had another day of "new." Mommy and I started another class together. There are 6 other moms and babies and I am one of the oldest! I think we will both have a lot of fun.
I really miss Daddy now that he is back at work, and I know that he misses me too. We were so lucky to hang out together for a whole month!

I am 3 Months Old Today
I have had quite a few playdates recently. I met Asher for the very first time and played with Ethan, Ryan and Maxwell again. Now that I'm a big boy (the doctor told me that I weigh 13 lbs and 9.9 oz) , Mommy and Daddy are okay going out without me for a short while. Last night Mommy and Daddy left me with Maxwell and his parents and I was such a good boy. We had lots of fun, and so did Mommy and Daddy.
I have been laughing and smiling up a storm, although I usually turn it off once a camera comes out. Those who want to see it will have to visit me in person, though I am usually the smiliest when it is just the four of us.
Till next time...

Happy New Year!
My favorite part of 2010 so far is my daddy staying home with me for a whole month! I know I am a very lucky boy (but so is he). I made a New Years resolution to start sleeping in my crib at night, and I have already achieved it. Not only that, I love it so much, I have been sleeping all night! It's great for everyone. I have also recently decided the world is a hilarious place, and have been laughing all the time! Sometimes I laugh so hard, I give myself the hiccups! I will ask my dad to post a video he took of me laughing and "talking" so you can see for yourself.
Until next time...
